Set of 3 If Worlds of Science Fiction Pulps/Digests from 1953
What a fabulous find for any collector or fan of the campy science fiction genre from the 1940 s and 50 s! This is a set of 3 pulps or digests Jan, Sept, Nov 1953 from If Worlds of Science Fiction. Each magazine is a collection of short stories, novelettes, articles, serials, and recurring departments. I will list the month with the featured short story and author. I am certainly not an expert when it comes to collectible books, so please email me if you have any questions or need more specifics.
January - Check and Checkmate by Walter Miller Jr.
September - A Case of Conscience by James Blish
November - The Image and the Likeness by John Scott Campbell
All the covers are in good condition with fading and discoloration being the main issues. The Nov. and Sept. issues have a handwritten label in pen on the front cover.
