I have for sale a nice childs book titled Best in Children s Books. It was published by Nelson Doublday, Inc in 1958. The jacket is in rough condition with the front being worse than the back. The hard cover is in perfect condition and the spine is tight. The covers both have nice artwork on them. This book would be great for reading, collecting, or for just the art work. It has ten stories in it: Gulliver in Lilliput, The house that Jack Built, Giddy-Ap, Giddy-Ap!, Cinderella, Everybody Lends Jerry Muskrat a Hand, The Story Book of Wheels, Napoleon, the Corsican Boy, Fishes of the Shallow Sea, Dick and the Canal boat, and Let s Visit France. It includes color illustrations by L. Beall Smith, L. Weisgard, C. Steiner, S. Suba, H.B. Vestal, M.&M. Petersham, R. Moss, E. Shenton, and full color photographs of France and tropical fish. This was part of a monthly reading program with old and new stories, games, poems, and geography. Please Read: Thank You for looking and please check my other auctions.
