Vol 1, covering the years 1917-1945 has 487 page of text and a 14-page chronology. Volume 2, covering the years 1945-1980 has 641 pages of text, a 31-page chronology, and a 46- page bibliography in English and Russian. Both volumes are in excellent condition with just some wear and dings to the dust covers.
